Chairs of the Past

Hosted at the Limerick Academy
Have you ever wondered how neighbors from the past ordered their homegoods and supplies? In this program the students will learn about ordering pressed chairs and the way the chairs were created.

Hidden Stories of Emery's Corner is presented by the Limerick Research Club.

Mary Pinheiro will be sharing about three mysterious stories of Emery's Corner. This little neighborhood of Limerick used to be a booming community all on its very own. " Who was Lulu? What about that cave?" and "The Sawyer Mnt Skeleton of 1912"

Christmas in the Village
December 6th
Santa will be here in parade! There will be a Christmas concert at the Congregational Church at 4pm. Tree lighting will follow at 6pm. The Research Club will be selling red bows to decorate the tree in memory of your family members!
Join Cindy Smith and Sarah Choi at the Old Baptist Church (top of the hill of Limerick on route 5). We will hear about the fascinating Hayes sisters and their connection to the Freedman's Schools down south after the Civil War. We will also learn about restoring the Hayes' headstones.
